I also have logs and air fuel sensor map watches that I'll post on here later on for anyone to help me critique them. I can't hear anything though, as I don't have any earphones for hearing detonation, and I'm only relying on the FC Datalogit values. But as soon as I run 4th gear, or hit medium boost levels, I get check engine lights (CEL), and i let off the throttle so as not to blow up my car. The weird thing is that on 3rd gear up to high rpm, there doesn't seem to be any problems (maybe low load, high rpm). Anyways, I was hitting detonation of around 40-45 max (my wife was watching and telling me what was going on). I drove around the streets at light throttle/load, and hit the freeways to increase rpm (but not necessarily loads).Īnyways, I keep getting engine check lights during higher boosts, which I'm guessing is either detonation or maybe my boost safety is too low. I started driving the car around and had my wife hold and watch my laptop in the passenger seat. It was a pain in the butt, but I finished it. I just installed my Innovative LC-1 wideband sensor this weekend (basically wideband sensor and controller only).
